Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Help Me Find family of restaurant directory websites ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Help Me Find provides a directory of restaurants organised by cuisine type and location. We operate multiple branded directories including italian.helpmefind.com, greek.helpmefind.com, and irish.helpmefind.com. The Service is provided free of charge to diners. Restaurant owners may purchase Featured Listing upgrades.

2. Restaurant Listings

Submitting a listing

Any person may submit a restaurant for inclusion in the directory. By submitting, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have permission to provide it. Submissions are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission for any reason.

Claiming a listing

Restaurant owners may claim their listing to manage its details. By claiming a listing you confirm that you are the owner or an authorised representative of the business. False claims are a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.

Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure listing information is accurate but cannot guarantee that hours, contact details, or menu information are current. Always contact a restaurant directly to confirm before visiting.

3. User-Generated Content

By submitting a review or any other content you grant Help Me Find a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the Service and in promotional materials.

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is false, defamatory, or misleading
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Is offensive, abusive, or hateful
• Contains spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions
• Is submitted in exchange for payment or other compensation (fake reviews)

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we determine to be inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

4. Featured Listings and Payments

Featured Listings are paid upgrades that promote a restaurant's visibility within the directory. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms.

• Featured status is activated immediately upon payment confirmation.
• Listing periods are as described at the time of purchase (30, 90, or 365 days).
• We offer a full refund within 48 hours of purchase if the listing has not yet received significant additional traffic. Requests should be sent to support@helpmefind.com.
• After 48 hours, payments are non-refundable.
• We do not guarantee any specific level of traffic, impressions, or business results from a Featured Listing.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Submit false information or impersonate any person or business

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service that we have created — including editorial copy, design, code, and the compilation of listings — is our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission. Restaurant names, logos, and factual information (addresses, phone numbers, hours) are not subject to this restriction.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information will be accurate or up to date. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Help Me Find shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on information found in a listing.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
